​To participate in the Virtual LEAD Academy, you must be able to meet the following minimum technical requirements:

System Requirements

  • A broadband Internet connection.  If using a cellular connection you must have 3G of 4G/LTE.
  • Speakers and a microphone.  Most computers have built-in speakers and microphone.  Or you can connect a headset with headphones or earbuds.  If using a headset, please make sure they also have a microphone.

Operating System Requirements

  • MacOS X with macOS 10.9 or later
  • Windows 10: Windows 10 Home, Pro, or Enterprise.  S Mode is not supported​
  • Windows 8 or 8.1
  • Windows 7
  • Windows Vista with SP1 or later
  • Windows XP with SP 3 or later

  • iOS and Android devices (some interactive functionality may not be available when using a mobile phone)
  • Surface PRO 2 or higher running Win 8.1 or higher
  • For tablets running Windows 10 - you must have Windows 10 Home, Pro, or Enterprise.  S Mode is not supported​

Processor and RAM Requirements
  • ​Processor: At least a single core processor with 1Ghz or higher.  Recommended is a dual core 2Ghz or higher (such as i3/i5/i7 or AMD equivalent)
  • RAM: 4 GB minimum
